UNIT is proud to announce that we have been recognized as one of the Top 10 outstanding digital technology enterprises in Vietnam in 2024 by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA). This prestigious award was presented at a ceremony held on September 21, 2024, in Hanoi. This achievement is a testament to the relentless efforts of the entire UNIT team in developing a modern and efficient digital finance platform for businesses both domestically and globally. This recognition serves as a strong motivation for UNIT to continue innovating and delivering even more advanced financial technology solutions, contributing to the growth of Vietnam’s digital economy.
Launched on May 13, 2024, the program received overwhelming support from numerous businesses over the two-month application period. A panel of judges, comprising representatives from the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Science and Technology, universities, international consulting and auditing firms, IT media outlets, IT experts, and VINASA leadership, carefully evaluated 81 nominations from 56 businesses. Ultimately, 10 outstanding Vietnamese IT enterprises across 22 fields were selected, including 11 billion-dollar digital technology enterprises.
Digital Enterprises: Pioneering Green Transformation
Vietnam is emerging as a rising star in the global economy. With a young population, a high economic growth rate, and a projected ranking among the top 20 largest economies in the world within the next five years, Vietnam is poised for significant growth. Digital enterprises are at the forefront of this transformation, driving globalization, developing advanced “Made in Vietnam” products, and spearheading digital transformation initiatives to modernize organizations and businesses. To sustain this growth and ensure sustainable development, Vietnam is actively seeking new approaches and drivers for the economy. Digital enterprises are seen as a crucial force, driving innovation and laying the foundation for sustainable development.
Digital Transformation and Green Transition
According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, the digital economy contributed 16.5% to Vietnam’s GDP in 2023, with a growth rate exceeding 20% per year. The green economy is also thriving, contributing approximately 2% of GDP and growing at a rate of over 10%. In addition to these digital transformation achievements, Vietnam has developed numerous strategies to promote sustainable development and environmental protection, including the National Green Growth Strategy for the period 2021-2030, which aims to reduce emissions and increase the use of renewable energy. Digital enterprises are leading the way in green transformation, developing solutions related to production management, environmental management, and inventory. Beyond the domestic market, Vietnamese technology companies are collaborating with international businesses in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan to drive the dual transformation.
