The morning of May 31st, the atmosphere of International Children’s Day filled the UNIT’s office, to welcome children of UNIT staff to transform into employees who experience a day at the company going to work like their parents. After many times being curious about their parents’ workplace, the question of when they became “the little employees” has been answered, moreover, and accompanying their parents to work at the company’s headquarters!
From early morning, the children were brought to the company by their parents before it was time to head to work and join in the office’s atmosphere. Wearing uniforms and employee name tags, the children check in together with their parents and are gradually accustomed to the office environment. At 9:00 AM, the working session officially began after the welcoming speech of Mr. Le Hoang Son – CEO of UNIT Technology Corporation.
“The little employees” were divided into groups and visited each floor of the UNIT office with the Human Resources Department, learning about the daily work of their parents and their colleagues at the office. UNITers were also extremely excited and surprised to welcome the “little employees” to visit their workplace, and every department prepared performances and gifts for the children.
During that time, interacting with colleges at UNIT helped the children understand the adult world, learning new concepts for instance: “timekeeping”, “money counter”, and departments in the company…
After visiting the office the children returned to the common living space, enjoyed the clown performance, practiced basic yoga exercises, and adored relaxing moments with new friends.
Before finishing the morning working at the company, the little workers were given certificates, and gifts from the Union, signed, and received salaries from the HR Department like adults!
UNIT hopes that, with a day of going to work like an adult, the children will learn useful experiences, better understand their parents’ work, and have an unforgettable experience!
