Sacombank has successfully applied UNIT’s digitalized transaction platform and process to all branches, reducing customer wait times by 60%. After over a year of research and implementation of the digital transformation solution, this bank has minimized most of manual operations and reduced data errors.
Following a successful pilot at 15 branches, Sacombank has officially applied the digitalized process platform to all over 500 branches nationwide. This platform is the outcome of a collaboration between Sacombank and UNIT Technology Corporation, implemented at the transaction counters since April 2023. The platform aims to automate most manual operations, reduce data errors, shorten transaction time, and offer outstanding customer experiences.
Previously, before the implementation of the digital platform, interactions between bank staff and customers were primarily manual and paper-based. Nowadays, thanks to the new technology, when customers come to the counter, information entry is done using a pre-filled template on the system. Customers only need to verify and sign once, eliminating the need for multiple cumbersome procedures. Information is then immediately sent to the relevant department, and the process is automatically handled to quickly and accurately meet customer needs. Within seconds, the transaction officer can check the results, approve, and digitally sign.
As of June 2024, Sacombank and UNIT have successfully completed the phase of building a technology platform that adapts to the existing architecture, continuously developing, integrating, operating, and expanding the system. In the coming time, the two sides will continue to cooperate to develop the project’s next phases to enhance competitiveness, upgrade services, and bring the best digital experiences to customers.

The product helps automate business processes and digitize forms for enterprises. UNIT is honored to collaborate with Sacombank, one of the leading joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to implement this platform project.”

Notably, the new technology has helped Sacombank reduce a large amount of printed paper and storage, contributing to building a green environment for society – one of the important criteria in our commitment to sustainable development.”
With outstanding efforts, Sacombank has built a diverse product and service ecosystem, serving 18 million customers with 8.9 million online users, an increase of 19.8%; the number of successful transactions through digital channels reached 508 million, an increase of 51%, and customer satisfaction rate reached over 99%.
