ISO 27001:2013 is an international standard that provides Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements to provide uninterrupted security, information integrity and availability, and legal compliance. The information here includes data stored electronically or printed data – soft data and hard data.
An Information Security Management System (ISMS) is a systematic approach to managing a company’s sensitive information to increase its security. It includes human resources, processes and IT systems based on risk management to help organizations of all sizes and industries keep business assets secure under the information network.
UNIT has been cherishing to build a Quality and Information Security management system since 2020. But due to the Covid epidemic, UNIT had to postpone the plan. By August 2022, the project has been started with the determination and high concentration of all employees of the company.
After more than 4 months of working together with the desire to be done immediately to the market, the benefits of implementing the project are enormous along with many opportunities that will open up in the future. This is considered an important development step of UNIT.
On January 3, 2023 UNIT completed the ISO 27001 audit, 100% conformance, no defect, and UNIT was honored to receive the ISO 27001: 2013 certificate in joy and excitement. The ceremony went smoothly with the full presence of the Board of Directors, all employees of the company and Mr. Thai Quang Hy – an Information Security Expert from IMI Company.
Hopefully this will be a smooth start in 2023 and UNIT will be firmly on the way to conquer new goals.
