On the morning of September 10, 2022, a seminar with the theme of “Digital transformation and entrepreneurship of the young generation” organized by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) took place successfully.

The program has given students the opportunity to meet and talk directly with the leaders of the school, the Faculty, leaders of the Information Technology and Communication sector in Vietnam. From there, it is possible to learn more about the trend of digital transformation, the Information Technology market, seize job opportunities and orient the right career for the future.

The representative of the UNIT Corp delegation, Mr. Nguyen Minh Dung (Human Resources Director cum Director of ITPS Center), was also present at the seminar to sign a long-term cooperation agreement between HUTECH and UNIT. The cooperation between the University and UNIT provides an opportunity for enterprises to have the best-qualified human resources while also creating more job opportunities for students after graduation.

During the talkshow, an exchange program between students and IT leaders on topic 2: “Opportunities for Career in Information Technology for Non-IT Students” within the framework of the event, where Mr. Dung also had very practical sharing with the students about preparing appropriate digital skills, helping them understand the future career trends, especially those who intend to change majors or learn more about IT.

We hope that UNIT representatives’ sharing can convey and spread positive messages, promote creativity and entrepreneurship among students, and at the same time, share the difficulties and problems that students often encounter in the process of research, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
